Welcome to the User Guide for the Folder Icon Options

Important notes:

Log Out when you are done.

Use only the buttons on the pages themselves to move between table and form modes and to do searches, sorts and other tasks. Avoid hitting your browser's back or forward buttons to return to previous views or to abort an operation. Doing so may cause a problems with the functioning of the database web server.

The web database server is compatible only with current versions of Apple Safari, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Welcome to the Folder Icon Explanation. Clicking the full graphic-icon tools panel image right below allows you to return to the general explanation of the user interface.

The Welcome subpanel highlights the all-important “Log Out” command. Remember to come here to log out once you are done using the database.
The File subpanel provides options to import, export or save records, provided your account allows such actions. For Guests, these options are inaccessible.
The Edit subpanel provides options to clear or export a field’s content. For Guests, these options are inaccessible.
The View subpanel provides options to move between find (search) and browse record modes, to view records singly or as a list using the current layout, and to switch the top status tool bar on or off.
The Layout subpanel allows you to move to other accessible layouts.
The Insert subpanel provides options to insert certain data, such as current date, into the appropriate fields, if allowed.
The Records subpanel allows you to go to a certain record as well as work with found sets (omit records or access the records outside of the found set) and sort records.
The Script subpanel provides access to allowed scripts (routines for working with records and data). For Guests, these options are inaccessible.
The Help subpanel evokes a pop-up window giving access to help information on various database tasks.
